The Bat Cave

The Bat Cave
Hidden high up at the top of Table Mountain is a special cave, where Egyptian Fruit Bats gather. This place is really hidden. A special place far away from the bustle and crowds of people climbing the mountain. Caught in a special hidden forest, tucked among giant boulders, ferns and mossy trees, is this special place.

These bats look attractive as they are fruit bats, and are the only fruit bats known to roost in caves. Their wing span is two feet, making quite a spectacle. They are one of the loudest bats in Africa, constantly communicating with each other. You will be able to hear them from quite a distance, even before getting to the cave.

Find out how to reach this place by unlocking this path way, and become a real Indiana Jones as you raid the depths of this hidden treasure.

Please note that this cave has been named by the Author. The name is also used for another cave which is not the same, and only accessible to professional cavers.
As this is a hidden place, and unknown to the tourist industry, the PDF attached, is unlocked after a small fee is paid. The PDF contains full details on how to get to this incredible place along with other fascinating information about the area.
