Pringle Bay Beach

Pringle Bay Beach
Pringle Bay Beach is one of the most attractive beaches in the region. Pearly white sand, warmish water, mountains surround you, and you are not too far coffee shops and restaurants if required. The houses are set back from the beach, behind the sand dunes, so you don’t feel you are enjoying someones front yard. The best area for swimming is towards the centre of the beach, if front of the life savers building, away from the rocks. Swimming near the rocks can be dangerous because of invisible rocks underwater.

On the north side of the beach is a beautiful lagoon which is warmer than the sea water and perfect for children to play safely in, or try out their inflatable toys. This is a spectacular sunset beach, facing west over False Bay, so you will see the sun set beyond the mountains.

Being a little more closer to the south coast this beach can catch a bit of wind, so check out your weather report before visiting.

From the beach you need to drive to the local shops though, as the shopping area is a short distance away.

This is a very safe beach, and the whole area is generally crime free. It has many walks, and other beaches in the area, all of which are extremely attractive
A Map is provided at the bottom of this page, which enables you to find this beautiful beach.
