Muizenberg Window

Muizenberg Window
Muizenberg window is one of the easier hikes in our Portfolio. Though you should not underestimate the initial slope you need to walk up. Its steep at some points and if you are going to run it, you will find yourself exhausted. Its a fantastic rock formation, and its possible to drop down to it, such as in these pictures, or stand on top of it. One should not underestimate the cliff though. The cliff next to it is sheer, and in these photographs, where the climber is posing, there is a massive cliff and a mistake could cost a life. It does not often happen, but it was here that, in trying to find a good view to take a photograph, that I slipped on the rock. Luckily I was fine, but the reality is there, go here when the rock is wet and it could be fatal if you are not cautious.

This sometimes has been called erroneously as Muizenberg Cave on instagram, but that is totally a different spot. This is more like a stonehenge style rock formation, and very spectacular at that as its right on the edge of a cliff.
